This story begins all the way back in the year 2020. It was a time when most restaurants and bars had to close due to a spreading disease named after a popular Mexican beer brand. Unfortunately, the common medicine was almost powerless against it. But for that, it was also the time of small get-togethers and dinner parties – and so a lot of private clubs and establishments sprout around the country. In the beginning of this era, a young couple had just moved in together in their first own, very tiny apartment. But even though it wasn’t huge, its strategic position right in the middle of Munich’s heart Bogenhausen looked promising to the dynamic duo, who had great things in mind. But little did they know, that just a few dinner parties later, word of mouth would spread around so quickly in the neighborhood, that their place would be recognized as superior amongst all rival establishments. So even though they did not intend to open an eatery, in Munich‘s underground their place was already well known as “Superior Supper Club“ – if you don‘t believe it, google it. After a while it became extremely popular amongst criminals, such as infamous gangsters, drug smugglers, cold blooded murderers and dirty cops. Now, an entire year later, we want to take a closer look at the history of the SSC and its notorious members, while also revealing some of the secret recipes that originated in the club.
